MOPS is a Christian based group designed to meet the needs of mothers with children from birth to Kindergarten. MOPS was started at West Haven Baptist Church in 2006. We meet during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Thursday’s of the month from 9-11 am. Our meetings consist of Breakfast, Ice Breaker/Game, Discussion Group Time, Craft or Speaker.
While mom’s are enjoying meeting and getting to know other moms, the children are enjoying the MOPPETS program and making friends of their own. The MOPPETS program provides a special curriculum designed for fun and learning for each child’s age group. Our child care workers have all had background checks and provide a loving environment for the children.
We also have play dates on the off weeks of MOPS for moms and their children to meet at various places to play. A great time for moms to fellowship with one another and for the children to play with other children their age.
The fee for MOPS consists of a connection fee of $23.95 plus an additional amount for childcare and craft fee’s for each semester. Our semester’s are September -December (1st semester) and January-May (2nd semester).
